Jim Bales served as Mr. Jim, the children's minister at PR until the spring of 2011. Jim finished his master's degree in 2009 and enjoys traveling. Jim is also a runner and has finished several marathons and plans to complete several more!
Holly Barrett serves as the Connections Minister at PR overseeing Be The Gift (community transformation), Outreach, Women, and Adult Education ministries.. She is a native North Carolinian who moved to Charlotte and PR in 2008. Holly has a son and daughter who both serve in the US Air Force and a son-in-law who serves in the US Army. Her first grandchild, Cohen, was born in October 2010. Holly also writes at GEMSministry.blogspot.com.
Tom Gronstal is an employee of US Tire Recycling in Concord, NC. Along with his wife, Sheri, Tom was baptized into Christ at PR on September 11, 2005, but thanks to two loving parents has known Him for much longer. Tom and his family are originally from OH and moved to NC in April, 1997 and currently live in Belmont. Tom and Sheri have two children, David and Abigayle.
David Todd Harmon manages the day-to-day operations for MANA Nutrition, a local non-profit that manufactures therapeutic food for severely malnourished children. He has degrees in family ministry and in marriage and family therapy. He is married to Tera, who is pursuing her Ph.D. in early church history and they came to PR in 2010. David Todd and Tera have one son, Owen.
jane bolles hixson is a native Charlottean and the youngest of six siblings. She is married to the love of her life, gary dean hixson, who introduced her to Christ in 1971. jane and gary have two daughters, Day and Sky and two grandsons, Garamond and Kingston. They own hixson design and in their spare time they reach out to as many people as humanly possible. jane volunteers with Crisis Assistance Ministry and hosts the annual Loved Ones Luncheon to raise money for CAM. She also loves the sky and the sea and loves to fly and scuba dive.
Korey Risley is a former music minister at PR who is now in business for himself. He continues his love of music and still serves on the praise teams at PR. Korey is married to Brandi and they have two sons, Colt and Cooper.
Susan White was born in Winchester, TN, 50-some odd years ago. You will have to ask her about that! She also has 21 half or whole brothers and sisters...you will have to ask her about that ask well. You probably know Susan as a Christian wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, and servant!
